A travel blog
I hope your summer has been filled with time for adventure, renewal, reflection, and fun. The season always seems to fly by and we especially love our lake days here in the mountains of Lake Arrowhead.
This summer my sister has been enjoying a vacation in France. For several years she has participated in a home exchange program which allows guests to stay in her home in Eugene, Oregon while she explores some exotic part of the world with a stay in their home.
I love the photo above of my sister and her son outside their exchange home in Auvergne, France. It captures one of those beautiful moments in life. How exhilarating it is when we spread our wings, explore new horizons, experience new cultures and all types of weather in foreign places, and get to have our loved ones along for the ride!
This is what travel is all about - getting out and exploring. The way we travel can take many forms...train, car, cruising, river cruising, resort stays, camping and RV travel. It depends on our comfort level and how we want to see the world.
My clients, Doug and Sylvia Trenton, had a dream of visiting Ireland, but knew that they didn't want the "big bus" mode of transportation. I found the perfect tour for them with a company that specializes in small groups and unique itineraries.
Dream. Explore. Flourish.
You've got to have a dream to get it all started. Give us a call when you are ready to put your dream into action. We would love to help you with the planning process.
I recently created a lovely honeymoon in Italy for a referral client and am working on a Greece getaway for a couple who is checking off their bucket list.
I will be fulfilling a HUGE bucket list adventure next month when I explore Kenya on a small group tour. There's a big commitment in African travel with the added preparations of shots, medications, and visa application. I have not had any adverse reactions from my shots and the Kenya visa arrived today - safe and sound with my passport FedExed overnight. I am so excited for this dream to come true.
